Course Title – BWYQ Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga (RQF) - Brenda Ward

The aim of the Diploma Course is to educate and enable learners, both professionally and practically, to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices/ pranayama, relaxation, meditation and concentration to clients that have a wide variety of capacities, capabilities and experiences. The course will equip students with an underlying knowledge and understanding of yoga principles and philosophy, but students are also expected to continue to deepen their understanding and knowledge through personal practice and reflection.

The BWYQ Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga (RQF) can be studied as a progression route from the Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching (RQF). 

Course Dates from 28/09/2024 to 10/07/2027

Introductory Days - 13th January 2024 in Lytham Lancashire, from 9.30am till 3.30pm, and 10th February 2024 online via Zoom, from 9.30am till 3.30pm. 

As part of the course, there will be one 4-day residential in October 2026 (6 hours per day)
in the Lancashire/Lake District (venue tbc)

About Brenda Ward

I live with my family on the beautiful Lancashire coast where I teach daily online and in-person private classes, a weekly meditation practice, regular workshops and study groups and annual retreats in both the UK and Italy. I have been a British Wheel of Yoga teacher since 2004, a Foundation Course 1 tutor since 2019 and a Foundation Course 1 by distance learning tutor since 2020. In 2022, I began the Diploma Course Tutor Training course and hope to qualify as a DCT in early 2024. In addition to my Yoga teaching, I am also a qualified Ayurvedic consultant and run a weekly Ayurvedic clinic as well as regular workshops and Ayurvedic retreats.
