Safeguarding and the BWY

British Wheel of Yoga is committed to safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable groups. We have worked with the Child Protection In Sport Unit (CPSU) and NSPCC to develop robust policy and procedures to safeguard children and young people. We have worked with the Ann Craft Trust to develop policies and procedures to safeguard adults at risk. We work closely with all our teaching members and statutory agencies to ensure that safeguarding vulnerable groups is prioritised. Any allegation, suspicion of harm or concern is taken seriously and responded to swiftly, fairly and appropriately. BWY's Safeguarding Policies set out the key principles as well as providing best practice guidance.

Safeguarding can be contacted for support and advice at safeguarding@bwy.org.uk / 01529 306851.

If you have a safeguarding concern in relation to a child or adult at risk you should:
